As part of upholding their diversity and inclusivity values, the United States Embassy in Freetown has spent the final Friday of Eid with members of Calaba Town, and donating foodstuffs to help all residents of the community celebrate this special time.
As President Biden said in his statement this year for Eid stated that “The Holy Qur’an urges people to stand firmly for justice and reminds us that we were created as nations and tribes so that we may get to know one another.”
Meanwhile, Secretary Blinken of the United States recently extends a congratulatory Independence message to the people of Sierra Leone

The United States has been Partnering with Sierra Leone in many developmental activities. Sierra Leone has recently benefited from over 2,000 Covid-19 Vaccines from the US Government.
