The United States Embassy in Freetown has offered their deepest condolences to the families of the brave security personnel who died during the November 26th attack in Sierra Leone’s capital.
This comes following the burial ceremony of the 18 fallen personalities organized by the state on Wednesday December 6th 2023.
The Embassy posted a short message on Twitter, expressing their deepest condolences to the loved ones of the deceased.
In their exact words: “Today, as the country lays to rest 18 members of Sierra Leone’s security forces who passed during the November 26 attack, the Embassy of the United States offers deepest condolences to the loved ones of these individuals. We honor and remember those who gave their lives in defense of Sierra Leone’s Constitution and government.”
