A Public Notice issued by the Head of Registry, Jeremiah Victor King has revealed that new applicants will not be required to submit a research proposal anymore, neither are the Judged by an research proposal as admission Criteria at Interviews.
The decision as a result of the new USL Postgraduate studies on Taught Masters Programmes as students- will not be required to submit topics /dissertations as they rather now do taught Masters
The Public Notice Reads “This is to inform all students of IPAM, except MRPP and those who have already submitted their theses/dissertations that you are no longer required to write theses/dissertations as you are not doing research master rather you are doing a taught masters.
This is by the new USL Postgraduate Policy on Taught Masters programme. On that note, you should not be required to submit topics for theses/dissertations as it is no longer applicable to you.
However, by departmental arrangements, and in line with existing curricula, you may be requested to do e.g. project writing in your areas of specialties.
Therefore, it is implied that you are not expected to pay any submission fees for thesis/dissertation as you are not doing such anymore.
