Vice President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh has on Tuesday 17th August, 2021 launched the Chief Minister’s Delivery Clinics with various ministries.
The delivery clinics brought together ministers and senior officials across MDAs to review their annual work plans consistent with President Bio’s New Direction manifesto as well as the medium term national development plan.
Speaking at the launching, Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh disclosed that the clinic was one of several tools that the Chief Minister initiated to enable the presidency to convey how they intend to effectively track delivery in ministries.
He said that the objective of this initiative was to put ministers and senior government officials in a delivery mind set to support delivery.
The VP thanked the Chief Minister and his team for the initiative saying the tools will facilitate and enhance delivery of major government programmes.
Chief Minister, Jacob Jusu Saffa noted that the finalized annual work plan during the delivery clinic would serve as the basis for assessment of ministers and ministries. He said the initiative was to find a better way of doing things for better results of mandates, programmes and projects
