My Dear People,

I’m touched by the constant concern over my health. I’m currently undergoing treatment, and I have been responsive to it. This is due to the goodness of Almighty Jehovah and the generosity , prayers and wishes of everyone . Words will fail me if I’m to describe how I feel about the intervention of the First Lady, Mrs. Fatima Bio, my colleagues in the entertainment industry, my family , close friends , and members of the general public. I’m  grateful , and will continue to solicit your prayers and well wishes to beat this . May God bless us all. Thank you

The veteran singer was diagnosed with intestinal obstruction. This brought alarm to many Sierra Leonean entertainers that made them to create GoFundMe account while others were receiving money through Orange and Afri Money to raise $10,000 for her surgery.

The First Lady also stepped in after seeing the pledge on Sarah Kallay Blog on Facebook. According to Sarah Kallay, she supplied Madam Fatima Jabbe Bio the family’s information and she contacted them that very day. On her return from her trip, Madam First Lady kept in touch with the family and requested for regular update.

Members of the Entertainment Industry also organised a fundraising concert wherein the proceeds was donated to family of Vida to help with her medical.
