The US Ambassador to Sierra Leone, David Reimer has announced l the presence of American Peace Corps Volunteers in Sierra Leone.ย 

The delegation was received and welcomed by their Deputy Chief of Mission in the country,

Ambassador Reimer disclosed that the volunteers will focus on improving education and health systems in the country as they will be working directly with the people of Sierra Leone to achieve the broader goal of a sustainable health and educational transformation.

He also noted that members of the US Embassy recently engaged in a give-back to local people, noting that the team shared donations involving snacks, played games, read stories, and enjoyed spending time with staff.
