The Minister of Works and Public Assets, Denis Sandy and delegation have started the engagement and study tour in Namibia.
They began their tour at the Namibian Roads Authority Office, where they were warmly received by the Namibian Minister of Works and Transport, Mr. John Mutorwa.
Mutorwa, welcomed the delegation and explained the collaboration between his ministry and the Namibia Roads Authority as well as assuring the delegation of a positive outcome.
Sierra Leone’s work minister presented two gifts from Sierra Leone to his Namibian counterpart. DG SLRA Ing Momodu then explained the purpose of the visit, while Mr. Sesay from the PPP Unit in the office of the vice president provided background information on the tour. Presentations by officers from the Namibia Roads Authority followed, focusing on their Road Management System, which led to productive interactions. The day concluded with a site inspection to witness the transformative impact of technology on Namibia’s road infrastructure.
