Sierra Leone’s Youth Envoy, Yulisa Amadu, has been recognized and awarded a lifetime achievement honor by President Joe Biden of the United States.

“I am beyond grateful and honored to share that I was recently recognized and awarded a lifetime achievement award by the President of the United States, Joe Biden; Presented by the African and Caribbean community leaders this weekend” he states

He maintained that the award was issued due to his work and effort in helping the developmental strive of the youths and the nation at large.

His message reads; This prestigious honor was presented as a testament of my work back home in Sierra Leone and the impact as a black African youth  in the California African  community. As the youth envoy of Sierra Leone and a proud resident of the United States, I am humbled to receive the highest civil volunteer Award, the highest lifetime achievement award for someone of my nationality living in the USA by the President of the United States.

I am immensely grateful for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and will continue to strive for positive change, empowerment, and inclusivity in our society. Let’s keep pushing boundaries and breaking barriers together!
