The ex-wife of Yusuf Keketoma Sandi, the Presidential Spokesman and Press Secretary for Sierra Leone, Aminata Massaquoi has accused him of cheating on her with the current Sierra Leone Bar Association President (SLBA), Michaela Swallow, and the reason for their separation.
She made this disclosure on a live Facebook video to discuss the relationship between her and her estranged husband.
Aminata Massaquoi said that her husband had a relationship with Michaela Swallow, the current president of the Sierra Leone Bar Association and senior legal counsel at the Sierra Leone Petroleum Directorate, which caused him to unofficially divorce her.
She further accused the Presidential Press Secretary of physically abusing her and threatening to call the police on her when she confronted him with the matter.
Massaquoi said that she confronted Michaela Swallow as well and she denied having an affair with her husband.
“She knew that Yusuf is married, but due to selfishness she chose to ruin my marriage,” she said.
The ex-wife continued that she sent messages to Swallow, threatening her to stay away from her husband, adding that the Bar Association president later showed the message to Sandi and threatened to sue her.
She said, Sandi later told her that he needed space and started to ignore her, adding that he has moved into their family home with another women.
According to Massquoi, she is saying all these not to ruin his reputation, but because Sandi has been saying malicious and evil things about her.
She noted that before he came to politics everything was fine between them, but he has now become ungrateful.
She said they had two children, adding that until now Yusuf Keketoma Sandi has not returned her to her parents and officially ended their marriage.

Wish the principle of natural justice is applied in this case
In view of your attempt to dent the image of this gentleman , you are like vidicating him. How could a violence man called police on somebody he can easily perpetrate his violence act on.? This issue is a marital issue someone should be mindful of what to say or write lunta.
The issue entirely has to do with Keketoma’s personal and family’s life. I’m not even sure why I’m reading about it here in a public forum. All I can say is: let us mind our own businesses and leave the gentleman alone to carry his own Cross.
