The major of Freetown Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr has met and engaged supporters of Mohamed Gento Kamara who is aspiring for the mayorship position under the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP).

The mayor starts by stating that when a woman is in a leadership position, she considers her colleague’s women.

She also preaches a peace message to the supporters as she said it is only peace that can bring development.

The mayor highlighted some of the development the Freetown City Council has achieved in her leadership.

The mayor concludes by declaring her intention to run the mayorship of Freetown for the second time.
