Sources at the All People’s Congress Party (APC) says that the Interim Chairman, Alfred Peter Conteh, seems to be on a mission to kill the party. The grassroots of the party have accused him of being an SLPP operative, working closely to ensure that the mighty APC does not come to power in 2023.

According to the source, Conteh is accused of developing a list of Executive Members of his own choice to various constituencies across the country, witht the aim of getting their support for his preferred candidate for Flagbearer of the party.

This, according to top party operative, is fake, as there has been no convention where an Executive Member has been chosen by the party. Angry members of the party say that this alleged action by Conteh is in contravention of the mandate given to him by the Honorable Judge in Court, and should he continue in this act, he will soon find himself behind bars.

Grassroots supporters are of the view that all what Peter Conteh is doing is going to fail and that they are determined to make sure that the party emerges as winner in the 2023 General Elections.
