The All People’s Congress member of Parliament of the Northern District of Tonkolili, Hon. Aaron Arun Koroma has on Wednesday 25th October 2023 in the town of mile 91 ended a day engagement with residents of Constituency 048 in the Yoni Chiefdom on the outcome of the post-election dialogue that ended the political stalemate in the country.
During the meeting, Hon Koroma clarified why he and all elected APC Members of Parliament, Mayors, Chairperson, and Councilors are returning to the House of Parliament to represent their people after their stance of noncompliance in all state functions following the outcome of the country’s last general election was changed.
Firstly, the APC MP said, the party did not go to court because it did not trust the country’s judiciary. On several occasions, Hon Aaron Koroma said the APC has taken countless cases to the judiciary including the one on the outcome of the 2018 presidential elections, but the matter, he said was thrown out of court.
The outcome of the Commission of Inquiries, Census, among other court cases, the lawmaker said are enough reasons why the APC refused to go to court because it’s a waste of time.
As a party, the MP said they used the boycott as a way of registering its disappointment with the outcome of the last election that saw President Maada Bio winning a second term. For them, the MP said the elections were rigged in favor of the incumbent, President Bio.
It was against that backdrop the lawmaker said all of the party’s elected officials refused to occupy their seats or offices.
But now that a team of mediators has intervened and warned that all parties must put aside their differences for a better society, Hon Aaron Koroma told residents they in the APC have agreed to take up their offices or positions.

These so-called APC Politicians are full of balcony and very undemocratic. They knew all along that Samurai Kamara was going to lose the election without doubt. They had pre strategic method of approach in denying the results based on the same system applied by the Ex-President of the US, Donald Trump, that the election was rigged .At the end they failed miserably. Some of them have no choice but to bury their pride as push had come to shub.
The same court that approved the sacking of an elected Vice President is the same court that you people did not trust, oh APC, It’s a shame to you people
That will good if APC and SLPP will come together so these country will be a sweet country for us because only APC and SLPP can rules this country no others parties can do only them. And them one things I suggest in these country is tribalism is our more exspellay the We the mend and we the Temine because our population is higher all the others tribe in country so why not we can’t make peace /one word. Please my family’s members, friends please let make peace in these country please.
The folks of APC are great liers and good at misleading their people as HON Aaron has done. You misled your people not to participate in the census. Look at what you’ve done to yourself, by depriving yourself of salary for three months.
Actually this is not about census or whatever as others may likened to trivialize important issues on the outcome of June 24, 2023 polls. It’s about the merits or merits in the integrity of the EC🇸🇱.
Now that we have gotten credible partners as umpires on the true reflection of the WILL of the people, we are here now looking forward as to see between APC 🚩🇸🇱 and SLPP 🌲 paopa…. who’s a credible lucutor and real to d people.

People should stay home during any election to send a clear message that we don’t need democracy we need a one party state or government

Guess you think it makes you feel less of a loser by using the mediators as your reason for taking up your seats in Parliament, even though you know that you never won the elections and had no leg to stand on in a court of law. You prefer to believe your own lies to save face.
