A cross section of African ambassadors to Sierra Leone have visited the Presidential Residence to congratulate His Excellency President Dr. Julius Maada Bio on his re-election and pledged their support to him.
The Nigerian High Commissioner to Sierra Leone, Henry John Omaku, Fcim, spoke on behalf of his colleagues saying they were happy to be at State House to congratulate President Bio on his re-election.
“To the glory of God because of the effort of your government and because you resolved to have a great country, the election came out violent free. We your brothers from Africa want to pledge our continued support to you and your government as we know you will do more this term that will bring more development to the country” he ended.
President Julius Maada Bio in return said he was pleased to receive them especially on the occasion to congratulate him on his re-election on the just concluded multi-tier elections.
“I’m sure you were in the country and witnessed the process which went on successfully. I am focused on my duty now which is to serve this country diligently and bring more development” he said.
This is commendable.
