MS Bangura, a veteran member of the All Peoples Congress (A.P.C.) Party, has firmly denied allegations that he leaked an audio conversation with former President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma.
In a recent interview on Liberty TV,Mr Bangura acknowledged that he was on a phone call with the former president and admitted to using loudspeaker during the conversation. He explained that he was accompanied by two other individuals, both of whom are also members of the A.P.C.
Mr Bangura expressed concern over the widespread distribution of the audio and its contents, questioning who recorded and leaked the conversation. He categorically denied any involvement in the recording or publication of the audio, amidst accusations of breaching confidential protocols.
The allegations have sparked significant controversy within the party, with Mr Bangura emphasizing his innocence and calling for an investigation into the source of the leak.
