Dr. Sylvia Blyden, a political analyst and key figure in Sierra Leone’s opposition party, the All People’s Congress (APC), is making wave on social media after promising to address a message to the mother of the country’s Chief Minister, David Sengeh.

In a Facebook post, Blyden teased this forthcoming message, initially written in Krio, indicating she had something to say to Sengeh’s mother and that she would deliver this message before the weekend.

“Ar get a short message for David Sengeh in Mama way born am”, meaning “I have a short message for David Sengeh’s mother. I will address her soon – definitely before the weekend. Cheers.” Blyden said.

This public statement follows Blyden’s recent disclosure of an alleged internal conflict within the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP), which she highlighted by sharing a screenshot purportedly showing a heated exchange between Chief Minister Sengeh and SLPP youth members.

According to Blyden, Sengeh walked out of the SLPP Commandos WhatsApp group after the argument, calling out “snitches” and “distractions.” Her post hinted at internal tensions within the ruling party, which she appeared to relish, describing the situation as a “circus.”

“SLPP Commandos WhatsApp group is on FIRE πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯ right now as Chief Minister David Moinina Sengeh blasts ‘snitches’ and ‘distractions’ before he walks out of the Group. Kikikikikikikikikiki. 🀣🀣🀣 Sengeh nor able the ‘BASTARDIZED’ heat that I have created for him inside his own Kitchen. Meanwhile, some SLPP Youths den day pan CUSS am now. Me just day enjoy me eyes πŸ‘€ now. The bastardized target has become the Enjoyer of the πŸŽͺCircus.” Byden Wrote.

While it is unclear why Blyden has chosen to bring Sengeh’s mother into the conversation, her statement has sparked both intrigue and criticism. Many are now awaiting her next move, curious about the content and intent behind this unconventional approach.
