As the 2028 presidential election approaches in Sierra Leone, the political landscape is buzzing with anticipation. Haroun Oluwole Zubairu stands at the forefront of this excitement, ready to challenge Mohamed Omudu Kamara, popularly known as JAGABAN. This election, however, is about far more than wealth and promises; it is about the pressing issues that affect the daily lives of Sierra Leoneans.
The history of politics in our nation has been marred by deception, disregard for the electorate, and betrayal of trust. In previous years, politicians have lied to their constituents, disrespected community leaders, stolen from the public coffers, and even imprisoned their opponents. The time has come to shift the narrative from one of monetary incentives to one of genuine service and accountability.
A History of Commitment
Mr. Kamara, it is crucial to remember that many of us supported Mayor Aki Sawyer, advocating for the All People’s Congress (APC) party more passionately than you did. We have fought for change and progress, not merely for political gain. This forthcoming election represents an opportunity to hold all candidates accountable for their actions and proposed solutions.
Addressing the Real Issues
The people of Sierra Leone have pressing concerns that go beyond party affiliations and personal wealth. The upcoming election must bring focus to the core issues that affect our nation’s well-being. We urge Mr. Kamara to articulate clear, actionable solutions to the following pressing challenges:
- Water Crisis: Access to clean and safe drinking water is critical for our health and livelihood. What plans do you have to ensure that all citizens have consistent access to this basic necessity?
-
Health Drug Crisis: The availability of essential medicines is a crucial concern for our healthcare system. How do you intend to address this ongoing crisis and improve healthcare delivery?
-
Housing Problem: Affordable housing remains a significant challenge for many Sierra Leoneans. What specific initiatives will you implement to provide adequate housing solutions?
-
Climate Change: As our nation faces the realities of climate change, what strategies do you propose to protect our environment and ensure sustainable living conditions?
-
Electricity: Reliable electricity is fundamental for economic growth and daily living. What are your plans to enhance electricity provision across the country?
-
Education: The future of our youth lies in education. How will you ensure that every child in Sierra Leone has access to quality education?
-
National Unity: The need for unity in our divided nation cannot be overstated. How will you foster a sense of togetherness among all Sierra Leoneans, regardless of their backgrounds?
Wealth vs. Solution-Oriented Leadership
While Mr. Kamara may proclaim his wealth, we must remember that financial status does not equate to effective leadership. The ability to provide solutions and foster a culture of transparency and trust is what our nation needs. Voters are beyond tired of empty promises and cash handouts. They crave a leader who will prioritize their needs and tackle the issues at hand with determination and integrity.
As the election draws closer, let us demand a campaign focused on the well-being of the people. Leadership is not about buying votes but about inspiring change and fighting for the right to a better future for every citizen. Mr. Kamara, the choice is yours: will you rise to this occasion and offer us a vision of practical solutions? The people of Sierra Leone are waiting.
Hmmmmmmm…
What we have seen in all those aspiring for presidential position is them being part of those rubbing people from the consolidated fund. They came with nothing and ended up been one of the richest man in sierra Leone. Man like Jagaban has never taken a cent from the consolidated fund and is not part of the criminal carbal currently aspiring for presidential position. All of them are incompetent to govern. Jagaban is the man I see who has established in his own way and fit for the position. We don’t want any fake PHD’s again as they have failed us.
Jagaban is APC only hope. The rest are just economic desperados ready to steal from state coffers. We nor wan dreg man na statehouse anymore. Let’s try a financially successful man this time and see how that goes out.

Jagaban is one of the most honourable and clean figure that has the capacity to lead the APC party come 2028,he has never, never been in any political appointment and has a clean image amongst all political faces in the coming events. He is not one of the misfortune politicians that has rise up to lead the APC, we are sure he has the capacity to deliver to the people of Sierra Leone. This time around we need people like jagaban who has never taken a cent from our consolidated fund, who has never been part of the corrupted cabal, all of the rest are incompetent to lead this country.
Jagaban has worked very hard on his own there for all PHD’s, doctorate, masters of the Queens or Kings language must relaxed and take the back seat or join the Jagaban team to make a success for the APC party come 2028.
