2023 Elections: APC Finally Receives Voter Data, Thanks Supporters

“The Data Has Been Released” – Dr. Richard Konteh

Dr. Richard Konteh of the All People’s Congress on behalf of their Presidential candidate, Dr. Samura Kamara, shows appreciation to the people of Sierra Leone who came out yesterday in their numbers to pressure the Electoral Commission of sierra Leone (ECSL).

He said he is coming to the people on behalf of Dr. samura Kamara who will become president in the next two days to say thanks for coming out yesterday to pressure ECSL to do the right thing, for pressuring ECSL to not steal the elections, for pressuring ECSL to respect democracy and ensure that the people get the president, honorable and the counsellor that they need. Because of the sacrifices that you all did yesterday, I can boastfully tell you all that the data has been given to us.”

In the video he showed a pamphlet proof in his hands showing the data given to them by ECSL. He said for the first time they have got a colored copy of the data that everyone will see his or her face clearly when they go for the voting.

He called on everyone to go and vote even if you did not see your ID card. He has assured people that everything is in order now.

I've never really trusted ECSL (including the current ECSL executive)- an institution whose leadership is openly bent on dancing to the tunes of the box incumbent party of the day.

Truth over Propaganda 😂 The ECSL did not follow any practices that are inconsistent with the customary electoral processes. The names, addresses, and dates of birth of all registered voters were requested by the APC. The ECSL categorically refused their absurd request because it is against the law in this country and would even be illegal if carried out. The ECSL provided them with the standard information that is needed by law for their Party agents to have during the voting process in order for them to be able to verify the information of voters alongside the presiding officer. The party agents at my center received the same information when I served as a presiding officer for the 2018 general elections; this is nothing new. The APC is trying to make it appear as though the ECSL complied with their unusual data request so that they may boast that we talk am en dem do am.

One thing I know is that you all have been conered and bribe to let go certain things, leaving the average supporters at the sea. Information has reached us that you the so-called team A have compromised the integrity of the APC for your selfish interest not giving a second thought to the grassroots of the party. To say the plain truth to all APCians, our elders in the party for the next 5 years. But for the love of the APC, let us come out in our numbers to vote for the APC.
