The DIB Women’s Movement concluded a campaign visit to Koinadugu District on Tuesday, March 31, securing endorsements from local female representatives for Dr. Ibrahim Bangura’s political campaign.
During the visit, Madam Ramatulai I. B. Kargbo addressed residents in Kabala and the surrounding communities on behalf of Dr. Bangura.
Kargbo officially congratulated the recent victors of the All People’s Congress (APC) lower-level elections and used the platform to urge more women to seek leadership positions at the constituency, district, and regional levels.
Following the address, female representatives from all four of Koinadugu District’s constituencies pledged their political support for Dr. Bangura’s bid for State House.
The campaign visit highlighted the organization’s ongoing focus on mobilizing female voters and promoting women’s political participation ahead of the upcoming elections.
