The Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone (ECSL) in a recently published public release said that there has been a delay with the cargo flight bringing the consignment of ballot papers and result forms from South Africa.

More so the release said, “The Commission apologize for this delay and any inconvenience it may have caused to our staff and partners. The public will be informed at least 12 hours before the arrival of the special cargo flight to Lungi airport.”

There have been many questions as to what was used for the start of the voting that took place yesterday for Early pilgrim voters when the ballot papers are still yet to arrive at the shores of Sierra Leone.
