Honorable Manty Tarawalli, the Minister of Gender and Children’s Affairs, has exercised her voting right in Dankawali, her hometown located in Falaba District.
In an interview with one of our observers, she expressed that the voting process was peaceful and orderly. She described the atmosphere as calm, with people forming swift-moving lines and the overall proceedings running smoothly. Being in her hometown, she emphasized her personal connection to the area.
Hon. Tarawalli mentioned that she voted with a focus on promoting development and women’s empowerment, aiming to propel Sierra Leone forward. She provided an assessment of the situation, assuring that everything was calm, security measures were in place, and the voting process was progressing without any issues.
She took the opportunity to encourage those who were yet to cast their votes, urging them to exercise their rights and participate in shaping the country’s future. She emphasized the significance of this moment, stating that it was crucial for individuals to demonstrate their commitment to the nation’s progress.
