Video footage has emerged showing individuals in Port Loko at polling center 10003 in Dec New Maforki engaging in a demonstration due to being denied the opportunity to vote and exercise their democratic right.

The Electoral Commission of Sierra Leone (ECSL) has received reports regarding this situation and has emphasized the need to allow these individuals to vote.

Concerned citizens in the area have labeled the situation as troubling, as the ECSL staff has allegedly deprived them of their voting rights. In the video, the crowd can be seen chanting, “We want to vote,” while raising their registration slips, which were issued to them by the ECSL during the registration period.

The denial of their voting rights has caused distress and frustration among the affected individuals in the area.
