BREAKING: Samura Kamara to Face Supreme Court

Former Minister of Social Welfare, Gender and Children’s Affairs, Dr. Sylvia Blyden has claimed that former Sports Minister and Ambassador Coleson Turay have filed a petition against Dr. Samura Kamara at the Supreme Court.

“Former APC Sports Minister Paul Kamara and Former APC Deputy Ambassador Coleson Turay have filed 3 grounds of Objections to APC’s Samura Kamara at Supreme Court,” Blyden wrote on her official page on Facebook.

Pages of the affidavit have surfaced online with signature of Paul Kamara and lawyer Charles Pujeh visible.

Rumours of petition first gained wild attraction after Blyden wrote about it last week but distanced herself from any intention to do so.

The country’s Electoral Commission recently educated the public on nomination, petition and campaign while stating that the window of petition for Presidential Candidates was still open unlike other categories.

The petition is believed to serve a big blow to the APC camp as the country edge towards elections in June this year.

What does the SLPP really have to do with petitions filed by APC's former minister and Ambassador? Paul Kamara and Alimamy Coleson Turay are pure APC, so how would you associate their petitions to the SLPP. Why can't you just speak truth to your party leaders and leave the SLPP out of this your party's self created mess ? APC supporters, try to be wise for God sake!

From my understanding, the Supreme Court is responsible to interpret and defend the constitution of the land. The Court don’t operate the way described in this article. Individuals or even the government don’t just go to the Supreme Court to take up cases. A case has to go to the lower courts, higher courts, and then appellant court. If there is still and appeal, then it can be escalated to the Supreme Court level if the Supreme Court wants to hear the case. To say that an individual can just anther to the Supreme Court is lack of understanding of how the judicial operates.

I don't really understand what has gone over the entire APC party generally. There are many capable people in the APC party who will contest this June 24 election without corruption case. All this fault is been engineer by Formal Prezo Ernest by Koroma. Who has imposed Dr SWMK to contest,this man didn't even know anything about politics and he has so many stained.
