Reports reaching Sierraloaded have indicated that the Chairman of the Interim Transition and Government Committee (ITGC), Alfred Peter Conteh has filed a new case against the All People’s Congress (APC) party’s new executive.

The crux of this new case was made visible earlier this week in an open letter where the ITGC Chairman said that the new executives’ elections were illegal.

Conteh said that the just concluded party’s National Delegates’ Conference in Makeni was illegal because it was not done under the auspices of the ITGC.

He said that the said conference was not in tandem with the April and November 2022 directives of Justice Adrian Fisher.

The party recently elected Dr Samura Kamara as their presidential candidate for the June 2023 elections in a landslide. Members also elected other party executives including a chairman, secretary general and other senior members.

Some members of the public have criticised the operations of the party over the years. Some locals are saying that this new development is not short of a retrogression of recent development.
