The Political Parties Regulation Commission (PPRC) in a letter dated 19th March 2025, has called on the Leadership of the main opposition All Peoples Congress (APC) to respond to the Complaint filed against the Executives of the party by Dr. Sylvia Olayinka Blyden.

The letter was addressed to the APC National Secretary General, Lansana Dumbuya Esq.

The commission, in its letter, asked the APC to look into the complaint and provide a written response.

The letter reads: “The Commission has received a formal complaint from Dr. Sylvia Olayinka Blyden OOR, a member of your party. In light of this, the Commission requests that the party looks at the complaint and provides a written response.

“We appreciate your prompt attention to this issue and look forward to your response. Kindly find attached copy of the letter of complaint for ease of reference.”

When contacted by AYV, Dr. Blyden confirmed the news.

“Yes, I have filed a complaint yesterday March 18th 2025 against Hon. Alhaji Minkailu Mansaray and the APC Leadership after I exhausted all internal grievance mechanisms for redress.

“However, the complaint is not solely for my person but it has wider ramifications for the entire membership. I cannot sit by and watch the current leadership take the APC back to the doldrums of infamy so I have stepped in to save our APC party”.
