The Political Parties Registration Commission (PPRC) has recently received an application for the registration of a new political party known as the Popular Patriotic Reformation Movement (PPRM).
In accordance with Section 22(2) of the Political Parties Act No. 25 of 2022, the PPRC hereby announces that it has published the Constitution of the Popular Patriotic Reformation Movement (PPRM) in the Sierra Leone Gazette (Vol CLXIV No. 25A).
The publication in the gazette took place on Tuesday, May 2nd, 2023, and will remain in effect for a duration of 30 days, ending on Wednesday, May 31st, 2023.
As a result, the PPRC is now inviting members of the public to raise any objections they may have regarding the provisions outlined in the Constitution of the PPRM.
All objections should be directed to the PPRC Office located at OAU Drive, Tower Hill, Freetown, or can be submitted via email to [email protected] or [email protected]. The deadline for submitting objections is no later than the close of business on May 31st, 2023.
The Commission also informs interested parties that copies of the gazette can be obtained from the Government Bookshop situated on Wallace Johnson Street in Freetown.
