Abdul Bangura, a former international boxer for Sierra Leone now residing in London, has generously donated boxing equipment to the Sierra Leone Boxing Association.
The donation was made through the Minister of Sports, Madam Augusta James-Teima, at a ceremony held in the Conference Hall of the Ministry of Sports.
In addition to the equipment, Bangura presented special gifts to Minister James-Teima, acknowledging her significant contributions and outstanding performance in advancing sports in Sierra Leone.
The ceremony highlighted the ongoing efforts to support and develop boxing in the country, demonstrating Bangura’s commitment to giving back to his homeland and supporting the next generation of athletes.
The Minister expressed her gratitude for the donation and emphasized the importance of such contributions in promoting sports and nurturing talent in Sierra Leone.
