Sierra Leonean forward Ali ‘Nzonzi’ Conteh, formerly of FC Kallon and Godrich United FC, has officially signed with Norwegian second division side Mjøndalen IF Fotball following a successful tryout.

Reports indicate that Mjøndalen has secured Conteh’s work and resident permit, paving the way for his participation in the upcoming season starting in April.

The addition of Conteh is expected to bolster Mjøndalen’s forward line, adding depth and skill to the team.

Founded in 1910, Mjøndalen IF is a renowned football club based in Mjøndalen, Viken, Norway. Competing in the Obos Ligaen, the club plays its home matches at the 4,350-capacity Consto Arena. After suffering relegation from the Eliteserien in 2021, Mjøndalen IF is eager to regain its status as a top-tier team in Norwegian football.

Conteh has garnered attention both domestically and internationally for his prowess as a striker. With notable performances in the Sierra Leone Premier League, including standout displays for FC Kallon and East End Lions, Conteh has established himself as a formidable presence on the field.
