Sierra Leone forward, Amadou Bakayoko has joined Scottish side Dundee Football Club on a season-long loan from Forest Green Rovers.
“I am delighted to be able to come and play for this club in the Scottish Premiership and I am looking forward to the challenges ahead.
“I am looking forward to working with the manager and coaching staff. It is always nice to be wanted and I will give my best to the club the fans and myself,” Bakayoko said.
The striker has 6 caps and a goal for the Sierra Leone male national team, Leone Stars.
The 27-year-old was born in Kenema but started his professional career in the UK with Walsall in 2013.
Bakayoko came to the limelight when he signed for Coventry City where he bagged 11 goals as a young player in 2 seasons.
He later signed for Bolton Wanderers in 2021 and went to score 11 goals in 52 appearances.
The 6ft 4in striker is now playing for English League Two side, Forest Green Rovers.
