Assistant Coach of  Leone Stars, Amidu Karim is expected to replace John Keister as the new Head Coach of the Sierra Leone  National male Football team.

Confirming  the Speculation,  Popular Sports Journalist Musa S. Kamara  has said  that a reliable source informed him that Amidu Karim is now the head coach of Leone Stars.

He further revealed that the decision was made earlier on Monday September 25, 2023 at the Football Association Secretariat. He affirmed that Mohamed Kallon is the public’s choice but not the popular choice among the selectors.

As the public await their the official confirmation of the appointment by the Sierra Leone Football Association, the appointment of Karim as Leone Stars Head Coach came as a surprise for many as they were expecting the former Leone Stars Captain, Mohamed Kallon to take over the team.
