A Sierra Leonean elite referee, Aminata Fullah, has successfully passed the FIFA High-Intensity Fitness Test for Female Elite Referees under the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

The demanding 75/25 metres fitness test forms part of preparations for the upcoming Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, which will be hosted in Morocco later this year.

The exercise is designed to assess referees’ speed, endurance, and recovery capacity to ensure they are fully fit to officiate at Africa’s premier women’s football tournament.

By meeting the required standard, Fullah has demonstrated her readiness to perform on the continental stage. She will now await the final decision of the CAF Referees Committee Selection Panel for official appointment to the competition.

Her achievement marks a significant personal milestone and represents a proud moment for Sierra Leone football.
