Sierra Leone’s FIFA and Elite A referee, Aminatta Fullah has departed for Casablanca, Morocco ahead of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), which runs from July 5 to July 26, 2025.
Fullah’s appointment marks a significant milestone for Sierra Leonean football, as she becomes the nation’s first referee to participate in the prestigious continental competition. The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) celebrated her achievement, calling it a moment of national pride.
“History has been made! We are incredibly proud of Aminatta Fullah as she represents Sierra Leone with professionalism and excellence on this global stage,” the SLFA Media Department stated.
