Sierra Leonean – German International player who doubles as Sierra Leone’s Brand Global Football Ambassador, Antonio Rudiger has yesterday scored his debut goal for Real Madrid FC.

Rudiger moved to Real Madrid FC on a free transfer after his five-year contract with Chelsea expired. The centre-back agreed to join Real Madrid on a four-year deal at the Bernabeu after leaving the Blues at the end of his contract.

Antonio Rudiger was signed to replace the vacant position of ISCO following his departure this summer. On their 4-1 defeat yesterday, Sunday 11th September, 2022 against Real Mallorca, an effort from Federico Valverde levelled the scores on the stroke of half-time.

Real Madrid returned to the top of the table, two points ahead of second-placed Barcelona.

During the match yesterday, Real Madrid came from behind to defeat Real Mallorca 4-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu; Vedat Muqiri headed in unmarked at the back post but Federico Valverde levelled before Vinicius Jr put the hosts in front; Rodrygo and Antonio Rudiger completed the rout.
