Rokel Commercial Bank Fourah Bay College (FBC) Outlet has on Wednesday 22nd February 2023 sponsored a football match between the Students Union body And the Academic Staff Association as part of the college’s 196 Anniversary Celebration at the University field.

The officer-in-charge of RCBank FBC outlet, Adama Mamanie Fornah-Thomas encouraged the students to open an account with RCBank and advised them to uphold the culture of savings as it is very important for their welfare.

She also encouraged the two teams to score goals during the match.

The match which attracted staff of RCBank FBC outlet, students, and members of the Academic Staff Association ended 2-1 in favor of the Student Union body.

Over the years, Rokel Commercial Bank’s strategy of giving back to society has bordered on several organizational policies including Corporate Social Responsibility.

As a corporate entity operating at FBC, RCBank believes that businesses can only thrive when the communities within which they work are equally thriving. Thus the need for RCBank sponsorship as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility drive to improve and socialize with staff and the Student Union Body in the FBC community.

The RCBank staff present during the said match were the Officer-in-Charge of RCBank FBC Outlet Adama Mamanie Fornah-Thomas, the Officer-in-Charge of RCBank Public Relations Mr. Aruna Dumbuya, marketing representatives and staff from other units of the bank graced the program to create awareness and marketing of the bank’s products and services.
