Former Mighty Blackpool players, Santigie Koroma (Santos) and Alimamy Kamara (Agogo) have been spotted training with Liberian first Division Champions LISCR Football Club ahead of TotalEnergies CAF Confederations Cup first preliminary round qualifiers against Bo Rangers FC. 

Bo Rangers will host Liberian football club in the first leg of the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League Preliminary Round at Southern Arena on Saturday 19th August, 2023.

Bo Rangers, the two-time Sierra Leone Premier League champions, recently received approval from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to host their preliminary match against Liberia’s LISCR F.C. in the Total Energies CAF Champions League at the newly constructed 6000-seater stadium in the Southern Arena of Bo.

LISCR FC is a Liberian football club based in Monrovia. The club is nicknamed the ‘Shipping Boys,’ after its owner, LISCR, which deals with ships flying Liberian flag around the world.

LISCR FC won all domestic trophies in the 2022/2023 season for the first time in the club history and they will clash with Bo Rangers in the Upcoming CAF Champions League qualifiers. Santigie Koroma and Alimamy Kamara will join LISCR current prolific Sierra Leonean Striker, Ishmail Dumbuya who won the Golden Boot for the 2022/2023 League season. The three players are all products of PS Zizo Academy in Freetown.

The Shipping Boys will host Bo Rangers in the 2023-24 CAF Champions League first qualifying round second leg on August 27, 2023 at the SKD Sports Complex.
