Sierra Leone Premier League Champions, Bo Rangers have knocked out Guinean heavyweight club, AC Horoya on penalties after playing to 1-1 draw.

Horoya opened the scoring with a goal from Sory Camara in the 29 minutes.

The match was almost considered done and dusted only for Rangers’ Suffian Kalokoh to equalise in the 88 minutes.

The match ended in a penalty shootout which Rangers won by 4 goals to 3.

The competition attracted teams from five countries participating in the second edition of the tournament.

Champions from Sierra Leone, Cameroon, Senegal and Mali are competing against four Guinean teams.

The four Guinean teams in the tournament are Horoya AC, Hafia FC, Milo FC and Soar AC.

Casa Sport is representing Senegal, L’as Real BKO FC representing Mali while Coton FC is representing Cameroon.

The tournament started on the 7th August and will last for six days ending on the 13th August, 2023.
