One of Sierra Leone’s top musicians, Boss La has pleaded with Chicago Fire veteran striker, Kei Kamara to return to the Sierra Leone national team.
In a Facebook post, the musician reacted to the selection of the veteran striker to the Major League Soccer (MLS) All-Star team to face Premier League last season runners-up, Arsenal.
Speaking with admiration, Boss La commended Kamara for making the team which will coached by former Man United striker and England International, Wayne Rooney.
He also admired the fact that the striker will be playing in the same league next season with one of the greatest modern-day footballers, Lionel Messi.
“Let’s plead with Kei Kamara to collect his number 10 jersey again,” the artist said.
After scoring the all-important goal against Benin in the AfCON Qualifiers, Kamara was part of the Sierra Leone squad in the 2021 AfCON Competition in Cameroon but resigned after they failed to progress from the Group stage.
Sierra Leone failed to qualify for Africa’s premier football competition next year after narrowly losing to Nigeria by 3 goals to 2 in June, 2023.
