Popular Leone Stars player, Mohamed Buya Turay, has rendered his sincere apologies to the women of Sierra Leone for raining insults on his wife and his mother-in-law in a trending video on social media.
He wrote: βπππ¦πΈπ± Few weeks back there were a hurtful remorseful video I said to the womanhood. It takes me so many weeks of courage to acknowledge and accept my abusive behavior.
I hope this apology finds you yβall mothers, sisters, my wife and fans out there home and abroad. I wanted to reach out and apologize from the bottom of my heart for the hurtful and abusive words I said to the women. I am truly sorry for my actions that l was pushed away to do this I caused and the impact it had on you.
I want you to know that I take full responsibility for my actions, and I deeply regret my behaviour today, because truly this is not the type of person Iβm. There is no excuse for the hurtful words I used, and I understand how they have affected you all women emotionally.
I want you to understand that my words were never a reflection of how I truly feel about the situation. They were said in a moment of anger and frustration, and I deeply regret the hurt they caused. I am committed to learning from this experience and making positive changes in my behaviour by not letting myself be distracted by retaliation either behind the scenes or in public.
Please know that I am actively seeking help and support to address my abusive tendencies through my life I have been into lately. I am taking counseling sessions and working on understanding the root causes of my behavior in this video. My goal is to become a better person always and to create a safe and loving environment for my country people, family, fans and my loved ones.
I understand that it will take time for this to come to past with yβall, and I respect your opinion and comments in relation to the video. I want you to know that I am a human being too for be silent behind the scene and I reacted like that it was outrageous to me as a role model to the nation.

I am committed to making amends and rebuilding the trust that had been broken to the women out there by protecting our womenβs lives , it’s important for me to be sincere about my reputation and take responsibility for my actions.
It may take time for the women out there who have seen the video to heal, but expressing my remorse and commitment to change is a crucial step toward transforming by not allowing nothing to lead me back into this situation.

It’s good you come back to your senses. You are a key figure and a role model, which you totally forgot about. Being decisive is far preferable than reacting in such manner that you exhibited publicly. To be a strong man doesn’t mean you have to fight physically or using invective languages, but rather to be able to control your temper at a maximum temperature. And that actually makes you a man!!!!! At that point in time, when your wife must have offended you as you directly depicted in the video, that’s the moment you should have just looked at her and asked her if she was really ok???? That’s how man with status must behave.
For me personally, you are forgiven. You are a nice gentle man and an hero that have brought honour to your nation!!!! Please continue to maintain that pedigree!!!!!

Wow! Dis guy bin for either record video, en talk in ihm apology, or pay somebody for write ihm so-called apology for ahm. Apart from di fact sae di guy lack education, as ihm poor English show; If di man sincere en genuinely sorry en remorseful for ihm rude en bad behavior, ee bin use di same medium wae ee use for cuss en demean ihm wef, en ihm mother-in-law, i.e. video. With ihm illiterate-level English, wae, ah sure, even ihm sef nuh understand, ee hard for accept ihm apology as sincere en genuine. Instead of for dae cuss ihm wef en mother-in-law, ee for use ihm money en time for go school, en get an education. What a shame!
