The National Leone Stars Team B has commenced its first training session this morning at the SKD stadium in Monrovia ahead of their double header fixtures against the Eagles of Mali later this month.
The team which arrived in Monrovia last evening went into action this morning guided by head coach, Francis Zappa Koroma and his technical team.
Before the commencement of the training session at the SKD stadium, the Minister of Youths and Sports of the Republic of Liberia who also doubles as Chairman of the Inter-Ministerial Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Taskforce, Dester Zeogar Wilson made a presentation of drinks to the team which he described as a token gesture from the President of Liberia, George Weah.
This training session, according to Coach Zappa is meant to provide the players the opportunity to master his tactics and at the same time gauge their physical readiness ahead of these crunch fixtures against their West African opponents, Mali.
The team also held another training session this afternoon at the same venue before proceeding to the ATS to witness a Super cup match between League champions, Watanga FC vs Liscer FC.
