In the ongoing Sierra Leone Premier League (SLPL) which is contested by 18 teams from across different regions in the country, three teams are heading to the relegation zone gradually as the league comes to an end.

All teams have played 33 games and are expected to have the Round 34 on Saturday 22nd July, 2023 which may mark the teams to either relegate or have a place in the 1-15 zone.

The teams that are yet in the relegation zone after each completing the Round 34 are; FC Johansen having 36 points and at the 16th position,  East End Tigers FC having 33 points  and at the 17th position and Wilberforce FC 32 points and at 18th position.

Speculations are high over a tie between Kambio Eagles FC with 36 points at the 15th position and FC Johansen 36points at the 16th position. Many believed that, after tomorrow’s encounter one of the two will finally rest at the relegation zone.

Bo Rangers the current champions and winners of the SLPL have got the Promotion for CAF Champions League Qualification.

For the tie between the expected relegation zone teams; FC Johansen is expected to lock horns with Freetown City FC. Lamboi FC will be hosting East End Tigers, Diamond Stars will be hosting Wilberforce FC and East End Lions will be hosting Kamboi Eagles respectively.
