Cricket Sierra Leone (CSL), under the leadership of Francis Trevor Samura as Chairman Board of Directors, achieves a remarkable milestone by clinching four prestigious International Cricket Council (ICC) development awards in Africa.
The awards, including the 100% Cricket Women’s Cricket Initiative of the Year, ICC Associates Members Men’s Performance of the Year, ICC Associates Members Women’s Performance of the Year, and the Cricket 4 Good Social Impact Initiative of the Year, highlight CSL’s commitment to promoting cricket at various levels.
This success reflects Chairman Samura’s effective leadership, with CSL consistently organizing national competitions for both men and women, along with capacity-building programs.
As CSL and the Nigeria Cricket Federation gear up to represent Africa in the ICC global development award contest, Chairman Samura has announced the commencement of the 2024 Men’s and Women’s T20 leagues this May, signaling further growth and development in Sierra Leonean cricket.
