Young England and Sierra Leonean Prodigy Jayden Kamson has signed a professional contract with Manchester United.
Kamason, 16, joined the specialist programme six years ago while playing for local grassroots team Stockport Vikings and has now been rewarded with his first pro deal.
After spending a period of time developing in the ETP working with bespoke coaching and delivery staff, the teenage right-back transitioned to the main academy group, where he has spent the last six years.
“I am proud to have signed my first pro contract with this massive club. I am truly blessed. Thankful, towards my family for the continued support and those who have helped me throughout the journey,” The youngster posted on his Instagram handle.
It is not club policy to announce a player’s first professional contract but an exception has been made in this case to celebrate the success of the ETP in creating opportunities for children across Greater Manchester to develop their talent.
