FC Kallon have been eliminated from the CAF Confederation Cup Qualifiers after sharing the spoils 1-1 with Dreams FC of Ghana at the SKD stadium in Monrovia .
Dreams FC had a 2-1 win against FC Kallon in the first-leg at the Accra Sport stadium and they were able to secure qualification against the Cavaliers with a 1-1 draw in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup Qualifiers. This outcome of the match has led Dreams FC to qualify with a 3-2 aggregate.
Agyenim Boateng early goal from the spot gave the visitors a comfortable lead first half before Mahmoud Fofanah equalized in the extra time of the match. FC Kallon was on the verge of reaching the group stage of the second-tier competition of African Club Football but their optimism has been cut short.
According to the club manager, Mohamed Kallon a win for FC Kallon is a big win to Sierra Leone adding that it would have been the turning point for Sierra Leone football.
