Leicester City has confirmed that Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro , has invited the Leceister City duo Wilfred Indidi and Kelechi Ihenacho among others for next weekend’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone in Monrovia.

“AFCON qualification continues for Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Ihenacho when Nigeria Meet Sierra Leone on 18 June,” a club official statement read

The 5pm Kick-off Match is expected to take place at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Stadium in Monronvia.

A win for Sierra Leone will Increases their chances of qualifying with 8 points while a win for Nigeria would confirm that the Super Eagles will top Group A with 11 points.
