The Secretary General of Kamboi Eagles Football Club has been banned for four matches while the club was fined NLe 5,000 by the Premier League Disciplinary and Protests Committee.
The report stated that during the match between FC Kallon and Kamboi Eagles, FC played on 12 February 2023, the conduct of the Technical Team and the Secretary General of Kamboi Eagles FC was rude and unprofessional during the last 20 minutes of the match.
According to the report, some supporters of the club were heard using abusive language against match officials.
The Secretary General of the Club was shown a red card for using abusive language against the Centre Referee. The incident however led some supporters of the club to engage in disrespectful behaviour towards the match officials. They were heard using abusive language against the match officials.
Meanwhile, the Committee unanimously found the Secretary-General guilty of intimidating a Match Official.
The Secretary-Generalas was given a four (4) match ban from the Technical Area with immediate effect and fined NLe 2,000. And Kamboi Eagles FC was fined NLe 5,000.
