East End Lions FC suffered defeat in a match against FC Kallon in the Sierra Leone Premier League on Friday.

Host, FC Kallon defeated the away side by 2 goals to 1 at the Angola Playing Field.

All goals were scored in the second-half with Lions taking the lead by a Prince Barrie strike in the 50th minutes of play.

However, FC Kallon striker, Alie Conteh cancelled their lead in the 60th minutes after converting a pass by Saidu Fofanah into a goal.

The Cavaliers soon got their winning goal after Lions Defender, Abdul R. Conteh scored an own goal.

The match result sees FC Kallon jump above Lions to 3rd place with 26 points after 15 games. The Cavaliers are now two points shy of CAF Confederation cup with Mighty Blackpool occupying 2nd place for now.

The Killers are now in 5th place playing also 15 games earning 23 points.
