Sierra Leone Premier League side Kallon FC will be travelling to Nigeria to compete in the COAL CITY INTERNATIONAL CUP 2024 edition.
The Cavaliers will battle with Topflight clubs from different countries in the Sub region.
Enugu, Nigeria, is gearing up to host the debut edition of the Coal City International Cup, a prestigious international pre-season football tournament set to unfold at the iconic Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium. August 1st to 11th, 2024, football enthusiasts will be treated to 11 days of thrilling matches featuring top-tier talent from both Nigeria and beyond.
Making headlines as the host team is Rangers International Football Club of Enugu, a perennial force in Nigerian football. Alongside Rangers, the competition will showcase three other Nigerian heavyweights: Remo Stars FC, Kanu Pillars FC, and Enyimba FC. These formidable domestic sides will lock horns with four international teams representing Sierra Leone, Kenya, Cameroon, and Ghana.
Joining the international fray is Sierra Leone’s FC Kallon , adding their rich footballing history to the mix. Alongside them, Kenya’s Gor Mahia FC, and Cameroon’s Coton FC promise to elevate the tournament with their distinctive styles of play.
