Steven Roy Caulker who is a Sierra Leonean-English professional footballer has got the green light to play for Sierra Leone.
The Alanyaspor centre-back is ready to give his all for his country after he has successfully switched his nationality from England to Sierra Leone.
He only made one appearance for the England national team and represented the Great Britain Olympic football team at the 2012 Summer Olympics, but the new FIFA eligibility rule has allowed Caulker to represent Sierra Leone The 29-year-old is of Sierra Leonean descent through his paternal grandfather, and of Scottish descent through a grandmother.Caulker won his first senior cap for England just before age 21 in November 2021.
His addition to the Sierra Leone national team will be a big boast to the defend, as he demonstrated his leadership and experience during the international friendly match Leone Stars played against Morocco U-23 in October.
