The race for the Sierra Leone Premier League’s November Coach of the Month award is heating up, with four standout tacticians, Charlie Wright (FC Kallon), Julius Gibrilla Woobay (Wilberforce Strikers), Francis “Zappa” Koroma (Bai Bureh Warriors), and Amidu Karim (Star Sports Academy), nominated by the League Board. Voting is already underway.

Early tallies show FC Kallon’s Charlie Wright in a commanding lead with more than 125 votes. He is followed by Bai Bureh Warriors’ Zappa Koroma, who has secured over 55 votes, while Woobay and Karim remain neck-and-neck with just above 26 votes each.

Wright’s strong showing in the polls comes as no surprise to analysts, who attribute his popularity to FC Kallon’s exceptional form this season. The Cavaliers currently sit atop the league table with 12 points and are yet to lose a match under his guidance.

Hot on their heels are Koroma’s revitalised Bai Bureh Warriors. The Port Loko-based side is enjoying an impressive run, occupying second place with 10 points and maintaining an unbeaten streak in four matches—three wins and a draw.

Woobay’s Wilberforce Strikers are also in contention, having accumulated 9 points from four matches, winning three and losing just once.

Similarly, analysts have praised the work of Amidu Karim, who has led Star Sports Academy’s youthful squad to an unbeaten four-match run, securing two wins and two draws.

The Sierra Leone Premier League Board is expected to announce the winner of the November Coach of the Month award next week.
