The Leone Stars  Full Squad  is in high spirit  for a  fully blown training session today 12 October 2023  Casablanca, Morocco ahead of their upcoming training against Benin and Somalia.

The said training will be the first under the newly appointed Head Coach Amidu Karim’s charge.

Meanwhile, Israeli based defender Abdulai Jajue Kabia has submitted an undesirable withdrawal owing to issues surrounding the availability of flights from his location.

The home-based delegation touch down on Wednesday October 11 safely at the Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca ahead of a week long camping in Morocco in preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup Africa Qualification.

While in camp, the team will engage in two friendly matches against Benin and Somalia on the 14th and 17th October respectively, which is in preparation for the start of the World Cup qualifiers against Ethiopia and Egypt in November this year.
