With outpouring congratulatory messages from football federations and personalities across the world for the election of a Sierra Leonean global administrator Madam Isha Johansen to the FIFA Foundation Board on August 10, 2022, the Sierra Leone Football family is yet to congratulate one of their own.

Sierra Leoneans should learn to celebrate their own irrespective of our differences, but it’s the complete contrast here.

A whole former SLFA Boss cannot get a simple congratulation from an institution she has led.

Becoming an FA President is great, it’s even awesome to become a CAF Executive Committee Member, a FIFA Council Member, and now a FIFA Foundation Board member. This is a milestone for Isha and Sierra Leone, and we pray that other Sierra Leoneans reach this height in global football administration – and we will be there to celebrate them.
